Terms of Service
By creating an account and using The Tiny Chest you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. The Service
The Tiny Chest is a baby clothing catalogue application that allows parents and caregivers to photograph, organise and manage their baby's clothing. The service is operated by The Tiny Chest, Australia.
2. Your Account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must be 18 years or older to create an account. The Tiny Chest is intended for use by adults aged 18 or older. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
3. The Service is Free
The Tiny Chest is free to use. You can catalogue unlimited items and create unlimited storage boxes at no cost. There is no paid plan, subscription, or in-app purchase.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of all photos and data you upload to The Tiny Chest. By uploading content you grant The Tiny Chest a limited licence to store and display that content to you within the application. We do not use your photos or personal data for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
5. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through Profile → Delete account. Deleting your account permanently removes your account, all your catalogued items, storage boxes, and uploaded photos from our systems. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
6. Photo Processing
Photos you upload are processed by PhotoRoom, a third party AI service, for background removal and enhancement. Processed photos are stored securely on Supabase and are only accessible to you via secure signed links.
7. Privacy
Your use of The Tiny Chest is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and applicable data protection laws in other regions.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use The Tiny Chest to upload illegal content, attempt to access other users' data, reverse engineer the application, or use the service for any commercial purpose without written consent.
9. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law The Tiny Chest is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
